Description:
Join award-winning artists Golnaz Khadivi Zand and Ghazaleh Naderian for a two-day oil painting workshop on color theory and flower painting, blending realist and impressionist styles. Learn how to create expressive floral works using dynamic brushwork, vibrant palettes, and thoughtful composition.
Through live demonstrations, guided instruction, and individual feedback, participants will complete a floral painting from start to finish. Emphasis will be placed on capturing light, color harmony, gesture, and form in a painterly yet structured way.
By the end of the workshop, students will have a finished piece and a deeper understanding of color relationships, value structure, and brush control.

About the Instructors:
Golnaz Khadivi Zand is an internationally recognized, award-winning artist. She was awarded the 2024 Diploma of Mode Portrait at the MEAM Museum in Barcelona. She received First Prize at the 2022 and 2024 Colour and Form Society exhibitions and First Prize, Federation of Canadian Artists, Toronto (FCA.TORONT)2025. As an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), and Colour and Form Society (CFS), and a juror for the SCA, Golnaz brings a rich blend of skill and inspiration to her teaching.
Ghazaleh Naderian is a skilled visual artist based in Newmarket with over 10 years of experience in oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and more. Her work reflects a deep love for nature, often exploring flowers, still life, and the human figure through strong composition, color, and brushwork. She is a Signature Member of the Toronto Watercolour Society(TWS) and an elected member of the Colour and Form Society(CFS). Her award-winning art has been featured in juried exhibitions across Canada and internationally. Ghazaleh is also a passionate instructor, offering group and private classes and in-person and online workshops to help artists grow in their creative journey.
Workshop Policies :
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for a two-day registration.
The remaining balance is due on the first day of the workshop.
A $140 full payment for one day of registration.
In case of absence, missed time is non-refundable. However, partial credit toward a future
workshop may be considered under special circumstances.
Canvas and shared temporary materials are included.. Please notify us in advance if you would like to use your material.
